Proposed Frontier Regional School District budget shows no increase from this year

DEERFIELD — The first draft of the Frontier Regional School District budget for the year beginning July 1 shows no increase over this year, which district administrators said will be achieved mainly through staff retirements or layoffs. The district, which comprises Deerfield, Sunderland, Conway and Whately, is requesting a budget of $10,035,836, down 0.8 percent from this year.
