Three vie for Sunderland administrator job

SUNDERLAND — Collaboration and communication topped the list of skills that the three candidates for Sunderland’s vacant town administrator position said were most important in carrying out the tasks and responsibilities of the town’s top managerial role. The three candidates, Michele Giarusso, a former selectman and current finance committee member in Leyden with experience in the healthcare industry; Andrew Golas, the executive assistant to Palmer’s town manager, and Sherry Patch, Hardwick’s current town administrator, each came before the Board of Selectmen this week to explain why they would be the right choice for the job.
