NUREMBERG SPEAKER: Bill Glenny, a cell guard at the Nuremberg Trials that followed World War II, will speak about his experiences today at 10 a.m. at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church, 319 Granby Road (Route 202), South Hadley.
Glenny met some of the most notorious war criminals including Herman Goering, No. 2 only to Hitler. A discussion will follow. Veterans will be honored at this event. Hot drinks and dessert provided. $5 per person. Proceeds will be donated to a veterans organization.

John F. Kovalski Jr., 81, Hatfield, d. Nov. 4; U.S. Army, July 1952-June 15, 1954, corporal.
Frede Franklin Froehlich, 89, Northampton, d. Oct. 30, U.S. Naval Academy 1946; served on mine sweepers in Kobe harbor, Japan, after World War II; later recalled to the Navy’s occupation forces in Germany during the Korean conflict.
