In a game between defending western Massachusetts champions, the Frontier Regional girls volleyball team wrapped up its regular season with a 3-0 win over Longmeadow at home.

Cassidy Stankowski led the way with 10 kills and 18 digs for the two-time defending state Division 3 champion Red Hawks (18-1), while Kate Harper added eight kills and 13 digs.

Tori Whitney finished with 20 assists for Frontier, which won 25-18, 25-17, 25-22.

Volleyball seeds will be announced today. The Lancers are the five-time defending D-2 champs.

Girls soccer

South Hadley 2, Frontier Regional 0 — Seniors Amanda Lachat and Tess Gauthier scored goals in their final varsity game for the Tigers (4-10-4) at home.

Classmate Nicole Casolari assisted on Gauthier’s tally.

Abby Lukasik had four saves for South Hadley, while Camilla Baronas made 12 for Frontier (0-14-3).

The game was the final game for Tiger seniors Brett Flaherty, Megan Lynes, Emily Dominick, Gauthier, Lachat and Casolari and Red Hawk senior Olivia Baronas.

Boys soccer

Frontier Regional 4, Pioneer Regional 1 — Chad Parent had two goals and an assist as the Red Hawks (2-15-1) wrapped up their season with a win at home.

Manny Munir added a goal and an assist, while Niko Ames also scored once.

James Blinder was credited with an assist.

Shawn Mazur-Garcia and Dylan Husted combined for five saves.

It was the final game for Frontier seniors Manny Munir, Eddie Tsai, Matt Byrne, Jared Allis, Billy Barrington and Yusaf Yildiz.

Cross country

The Hampshire Regional girls cross country team defeated both Greenfield and Turners Falls by scores of 15-50 to close its regular season at 11-2.

The Raiders boys beat Turners but lost to Greenfield to finish their regular season at 8-5.
