SOUTH DEERFIELD — Needing a win to qualify for the postseason, the Frontier Regional girls soccer team knew it had work to do with under 20 minutes left of a tie game Wednesday night. The Red Hawks certainly answered the challenge on their senior night. Frontier scored four times in the final 18 minutes to punch its ticket to the Western Massachusetts Division 3 Tournament with a 5-1 victory over Sabis. The Red Hawks will make their first tournament appearance since 2010, and only one player — senior captain Megan Farrick — has played in a tournament game, that coming when Farrick was an eighth-grader. …
