Easthampton

∎ A resident of Arlington Street reported Wednesday at 4:27 a.m. that someone had smashed the window of a parked car and taken two rolls of dimes valued at $10.

Northampton

∎ Darbie Lynn Young, 35, whose address is listed as the streets of Northampton, was arrested about 12:08 a.m. Thursday on Conz Street on charges of domestic assault with a dangerous weapon (knife) and domestic assault and battery. According to police, Young punched the alleged victim and threatened him with a kitchen knife.

∎ Police are investigating a report of a breaking and entering on Bridge Road. A large jar of change, a coin collection, jewelry, electronics and other items worth “thousands” of dollars were reported stolen, police said.

∎ Caleb Lloyd Butler, 31, of 14B Randolph Place, was arrested about 4:49 p.m. on King Street on a charge of possession of a class A drug (heroin) following a traffic stop.

∎ Isheika M. Hackett, 33, of 491 Bridge Road, Apt. 2814, Florence, was arrested about 1:02 p.m. Tuesday at home on an Eastern Hampshire District Court warrant related to motor vehicle charges, police said.

Southampton

∎ Police are investigating a housebreak on Gunn Road Extension that was reported Saturday at 6:56 p.m. The door was forced open and a coin collection, jewelry and $200 in gift cards were taken, police said.

∎ Robert L. Keach Jr., 31, of 143 East River Road, Middlefield, and William M. O’Connor IV, 35, of Huntington, were arrested on charges of larceny from a person after they allegedly grabbed a woman’s purse from her shopping cart in the Big Y supermarket parking lot Jan. 20 at 4:09 p.m.

∎ Police received a report Jan. 18 at 2:45 p.m. that a purse had been taken from a home on Pequot Road while the owners were not home.
