SHIORI and MATTHEW BRUMMER
Shiori Taguchi and Matthew K.D. Brummer of Tokyo, Japan, were married Sept. 1 at the Darby Field Inn in Albany, N.H. H. Marc Donaldson, the bridegroom’s uncle, officiated at the 5 p.m. ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Kei and Hiroshi Taguchi of Tokyo. The bridegroom is the son of Lynne Donaldson and Charles Brummer of Southampton.
Following a reception at the Darby Field Inn, the couple honeymooned in New York City.
Wrenn Yennie Lindgren was the matron of honor. The bridesmaids were Courtney Brummer, the bridegroom’s sister, Manami Yaezawa and Charlene Ni. The flower girl was Willa Anderson, the bridegroom’s niece.
Nicholas Katzenbach was the best man. The groomsmen were Damien Donaldson, the bridegroom’s cousin, Yuma Taguchi, the bride’s brother, Clifton Strickler, Jeffrey Lagomarsino, Elgin Fulton, Adam DiPerna and Timothy Rudowsky. The ring bearer was Jameson Fisherauer, the bridegroom’s nephew.
The bride, 30, is an associate at PricewaterhouseCoopers Co. Ltd. in Tokyo. A 2002 graduate of Brewster Academy in Wolfeboro, N.H., she received a bachelor’s degree in telecommunications from Pepperdine University in Malibu, Calif., in 2006.
The bridegroom, 32, is a doctoral candidate in political economy at the University of Tokyo. A 1999 graduate of The Williston Northampton School in Easthampton, he received a bachelor’s degree in business from Bucknell University in Lewisburg, Pa., in 2003 and a master’s degree in international relations from Columbia University in New York City in 2009.
