Competing against some of the top teams in Connecticut, the Amherst Regional boys and girls track & field teams performed well at the Bloomfield Invitational Saturday. The Amherst boys scored 75 points and finished second behind host Bloomfield (88.5). There were 22 teams in the field. The Amherst girls had 48 points and placed fourth in a 20-team field.
