Kate Sullivan scored 21 points to move within four of 1,000 for her career as the Hopkins Academy girls basketball team defeated Turners Falls 63-40 at home Friday night. The senior hit five 3-pointers and also had eight rebounds and three assists. Hopkins (2-1) plays at home against Lenox at 5:30 p.m. Saturday. Twin sister Mackenzie Sullivan (five boards) led all scorers with 22 points, while Erin Tudryn added 13. Ally Jenks posted a team-high nine rebounds and Leah Picard grabbed six.
