Pelham PTO to hold electronics recycling fundraiser Saturday
PELHAM — The PTO will host its annual electronics and appliances recycling fundraiser Saturday at Pelham Elementary School from 9 a.m. to noon.
All items will be recycled through CRT Recycling Inc., a facility in Brockton that recycles used electronics.
The fees for items to be collected are: $5 for toasters, blenders, food processors, coffee makers, electric griddles and woks, waffle irons and mixers; $10 for refrigerators, air conditioners, stoves, microwaves, washers, dryers, dishwashers and dehumidifiers; and $20 for televisions. Laptops, monitors, CPUs, printers, copiers, fax machines, office phones, DVD players, VCRs, stereos and radios can also be recycled for $5. Smaller electronics and computer accessories such as keyboards, mice, cables, remote controls, MP3 players, portable disc players, chargers and power cords can be recycled for $2 each, or $5 for a box of these items. Cellphones and printer cartridges can be recycled for free.
Fees collected will benefit the Pelham PTO, which funds events, activities and materials for the school.
