POOL TOURNAMENT — The tournament begins Aug. 12 at 9 a.m. All players must pre-register and pay by Aug. 7; the fee is $5.
BRAIN FITNESS — Daki Brain Fitness, an evidence-based program designed to improve memory and language skills, strengthen attention, focus and concentration, will be held Aug. 15 at 6 p.m. at the Enrichment Center. These exercises are designed to stimulate the brain across several domains, including long and short-term memory, computation, language, and critical thinking. Participants should commit to 30 minutes, two to three times per week. To pre-register call 527-6151 by Aug. 12.
HIKE — An active adults hike to Horse Caves in Amherst takes place Aug. 16 at 9 a.m. To pre-register call 527-6151 by Aug. 12.
PARTY — Mocktails & Jazz takes place Aug. 19 from 1 to 2:30 p.m. Tery Hoog will play jazz favorites on the piano. Mocktails, snacks and sweets avalable.
ZUMBA GOLD — Classes are now offered on Tuesdays, beginning Aug. 6 at 6 p.m., and Thursdays at 5:30 p.m. The drop-in fee is $5. The classes are at the Enrichment Center, 19 Union St.

TAG SALE — The annual Ceil Goral Tag Sale will be held Aug. 10 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Items for sale will include small pieces of furniture, small appliances, jewelry, gardening items, linens, children’s toys and collectibles.
‘IT’S OK IF YOU CAN’T FIND YOUR KEYS’ — A special program about memory loss presented by Susan Chapman Brooks, a registered nurse and dementia specialist from Colonial Home Care. The program will include a discussion about normal memory loss, sings of dementia and other topics. The program is Aug. 15 at 10 a.m., at the Senior Center, 67 Conz St.
FOXWOODS — Trips to the Foxwoods Casino are offered on the second Wednesday of each month. The $25 fee includes transportation, a buffet and a $10 Keno play. Payment is required at time of registration at the Senior Center, or send payment to the center at 67 Conz St. Checks should be made payable to Elder Vision Inc.
NEW PROGRAMS — MAC laptop class will meet Tuesdays from 2 to 3 p.m. for four weeks, beginning Aug. 6, registration deadline Aug. 5, fee is $40, or $45 for non-residents; iPad and iPhone training class will meet Thursdays from 2 to 3 p.m., for four weeks beginning Aug. 8, own iPad or iPhone is required; fee is $40 or $45 for non-residents.
