Della Penna’s Trailside Realty Inc. merges with The Murphy’s Realtors
NORTHAMPTON — Craig Della Penna, the owner of Della Penna’s Trailside Realty Inc. in downtown Northampton, announced recently that his real estate agency has merged with The Murphy’s Realtors.
The merger means Trailside’s Strong Avenue office has closed, with several agents moving into The Murphy’s office at 7 Main St. in Florence. The Murphy’s 44 Conz St. location is still in operation.
Della Penna said his niche at the newly renamed and relocated agency will continue to be on historic houses, houses in village centers and houses near rail trails or conservation areas.
He also owns the Sugar Maple Trailside Inn on Chestnut Street, which is where he lives.
Along with Della Penna, three a gents from the Trailside Realty office will staff the Florence office, Annie Thompson-Cahillane, Michelle Serra and Jeremy Ober. Della Penna said the office will have the same ambience that his office in downtown Northampton had with its “dramatic functional art.” Della Penna previously worked as a real estate agent with The Murphy’s before starting his own firm.
Della Penna sits on Northampton’s Historical Commission and the board of directors for Historic Northampton.
