Santorelli joins CDH Southampton office
SOUTHAMPTON — Nurse practitioner Chalice Santorelli is now seeing patients at Southampton Medical Associates, 6 Parc Place.
Santorelli has been practicing in the area since 2008, first at Valley Medical Group in Amherst and later at Hadley Family Practice. She also sees patients at Hadley at Elaine Care and Rehabilitation Center. She joined CD Practice Associates, the Cooley Dickinson Hospital-affiliated medical group, in 2012.
Santorelli earned a master’s degree in nursing from Massachusetts General Hospital Institute of Health Professions in 2007 and holds dual certification in adult and women’s health care.
A nurse practitioner is a registered nurse who has obtained a master’s level degree in science, with special training in the diagnosis and treatment of medical conditions.
White named president of appraisal group
DOVER, N.H. — Brian W. White, formerly of Easthampton, has been appointed president of the New Hampshire Chapter of the Appraisal Institute.
White will represent the New Hampshire Chapter at the Appraisal Institute’s National Conference in Indianapolis this year. He holds both the Member Appraisal Institute and Senior Residential Appraiser designations.
White has 28 years of real estate appraisal experience. He operates White Appraisal in Dover, a firm that specializes in the appraisal of commercial, industrial, investment and special use properties.
Sullivan joins Argotec
GREENFIELD — Lori Sullivan of Leeds has been named customer service representative for Argotec Inc.’s specialty film and sheet extrusion business.
She will have responsibility for interacting with Argotec customers and the firm’s engineering, manufacturing, shipping and accounting departments.

HADLEY — After nearly three years as executive director, Beth Spong will leave the nonprofit MotherWoman and return to consulting this summer.
In 2012 MotherWoman received the Massachusetts Nonprofit Network Excellence Award for Advocacy. The agency trained more than 1,200 medical, mental health and social service professionals in Western Massachusetts, around the country and in Guatemala.
Changes afoot at Dowd
HADLEY — The Dowd Agencies, headquartered in Holyoke, has relocated one of its offices from Amherst to Hadley.
Meanwhile, R. Kirk Mackey of South Hadley has been named president of Dowd Financial Services LLC and its Employee Benefits Division.
Mackey joined Dowd in 2005. He specializes in corporate employee benefit planning.
The new office at 226 Russell St. (Route 9) opened Wednesday. Customers can still use the same telephone number, 538-7444 to reach the office.
Established in Holyoke in 1898 by James J. Dowd, The Dowd Agencies is believed to be the oldest insurance agency in Massachusetts with operations and management under continuous family ownership. The firm also has offices in Southampton, Holyoke and Springfield.
Ford joins Amherst environmental firm
AMHERST — Michelle Ford of Middletown, Conn., has joined New England Environmental Inc. as a senior scientist.
Ford will also manage NEE’s Middlefield, Conn., office.
Ford is a certified wildlife biologist and registered professional soil scientist. She has master’s degree in applied ecology from Michigan Technological University School of Forest Resources and Environmental Science.
Ford has more than eight years’ experience in environmental consulting.
