Goshen woman cited in minor collision with pedestrian
NORTHAMPTON — A 32-year-old Goshen woman was cited by police after allegedly striking a pedestrian crossing behind her car Thursday afternoon.
Chaya Leia Aronson of 120 Sears Road was cited for impeded operation by Northampton police.
According to police, at about 2:55 p.m. Aronson was stopped at the intersection of Old South and Main streets when Amber Matos, 29, of Westfield, crossed the street behind her car.
Aronson’s car rolled back while being put into gear, striking Matos, police said. Matos complained of shoulder pain, but refused medical treatment, according to police.
