Police find underage drinking party at Millbank Condominums; at least one parent present, possible charges
NORTHAMPTON — Officers broke up what they called an underage drinking party in Northampton Thursday night, attended by about 30 youths with at least one parent, according to police.
Police said the incident is still under investigation and charges may be pending.
Officers responded to 79 Michelman Ave., Apt. #12 about 9:20 p.m. for a report of a loud argument.
Police said about 30 youths, most 17 or younger, were in the apartment, with liquor and beer present. A parent of one of the attendees was also in the apartment, according to police.
Police said four officers responded to help break up the party, contact the children’s parents and remand them into their custody.
