December holiday traditions abound

HOLIDAY MUSIC: The Florence Community Band and Whole Children Joyful Chorus will present “Together for the Holidays,” a concert of seasonal music, Sunday, Dec. 9, at 2 p.m. at Northampton High School. There also will be a bake sale to benefit the Florence Community Band Scholarship Fund. The concert is free with donation of non-perishable food items for the Northampton Survival Center.

BREAKFAST WITH SANTA: Children are invited to meet Santa at the Northampton Senior Center’s pancake breakfast fundraiser at the Senior Center, 67 Conz St., on Sunday, Dec. 16 from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. Tickets are $7 for adults and $4 for children in advance and $10 for adults and $6 for kids at the door. Tickets are available at the Northampton Senior Center reception desk. For more information please call 587-1228.

HOLIDAY DINNER: The Northampton Senior Center’s annual holiday dinner will be held Sunday, Dec. 9 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at 67 Conz St. The event will feature turkey dinner, entertainment, and prizes. Tickets are $12. Tickets are on sale now at the Northampton Senior Center reception desk. This event is open to Northampton seniors.
