Monday’s girls soccer: Belchertown, Granby remain undefeated
Belchertown 4, Longmeadow 1 — Breanne Moreau netted a pair of goals and Natalie Caney added a goal and two assists as the Orioles (7-0, 5-0 Kurty-Fielding) cruised at home.
Jackie Soucia scored once, while Brittany Moreau and Bryanna Veroneau were each credited with assists.
Ashley Cavanaugh and Sarah LaClair combined for seven saves.
Granby 3, South Hadley 0 — Rachel Mick scored twice to lead the unbeaten Rams (8-0-1) to another win at home.
Brooke Labrie had the other goal with an assist.
Alexis Ouellette added an assist.
Brittany Hauschild earned the shutout with six saves.
Abby Lukasik made 10 stops for the Tigers (2-6-1).
Mahar Regional 1, Hopkins Academy 0 — The Golden Hawks (3-4-1) allowed the game’s lone goal almost midway through the second half in the loss in Orange.
Amanda Olson stopped two shots for Hopkins, which had its best chance to score in the first 20 seconds of the second half.
Southwick 3, Frontier Regional 0 — Camilla Baronas made 10 saves for the Red Hawks (0-7) in the loss on the road.
Central 1, Hampshire Regional 0 — The Raiders outshot the Golden Eagles 13-2, but couldn’t score.
Lauren Aldrich and Hope MacDonald had strong games on defense for Hampshire (4-5-1) in front of Brianna Weltlich (one save).
Northampton 1, Monson 1 — Galit Sarvet scored 34 minutes into the first half on a Molly King assist, but Hamp settled for a tie at home against the undefeated Mustangs (7-0-1).
Maya Kerstetter made five saves for the Blue Devils (6-1-1).
Holyoke Catholic 7, Commerce 0 — Gillian Cassidy-Payson had two goals and an assist to lead the Gaels (5-4-2) over the .500 mark with the road victory.
Lexi Neffinger, Kyra Robins, Mary Roberge, Maddi Aponte and Liz Cavanaugh added a goal each.
Danielle Easton was credited with an assist.
