Summer baseball: Joe Warner delivers win for Northampton King & Cushman Post 28

Joe Warner allowed three earned runs and struck out three in a complete-game victory as Northampton King & Cushman Post 28 beat Ludlow 6-3 in American Legion action at Arcanum Field in Northampton Thursday.

Mike Molloy and Mack Hale each had a run-scoring hit for Northampton (2-1), while Cam Woodward doubled and scored a run.

Wilbraham 5, Belchertown 4 — Max Humphrey and Andrew Davidsohn each had two hits but Post 239 fell on the road.

Greenfield 2, Pettengill 1 — The visitors got the better of a pitchers’ duel in South Hadley as Greenfield scored twice in the first inning to send Post 260 home disappointed.

Pettengill scored its only run in the seventh when Jack Leahy drove in Joe Ciolek.

Jordan Page took the tough-luck loss for Post 260 (4-2) allowing four walks and four hits.

Dream Bats 3, Easthampton Savings Bank 1 — Ryan Smith singled and scored on a wild pitch for the only run for ESB (2-3) at Daley Field.
