Tower Theaters complex completes upgrades
SOUTH HADLEY — Tower Theaters recently completed a modernization project that includes luxury seating.
The theaters’ new 24-inch-wide black leather Barcelona cinema chairs, styled after Ford Mustang bucket seats, feature cup holders and retractable arms. Concession trays and booster seats are available.
The renovations also provide additional leg room along with dedicated wheelchair and companion seating at the rear of each theater.
In 2011 Tower Theaters converted to digital projection.

Tighe & Bond promotes three area residents
Westfield — Three area residents were among 10 employees recently promoted by Tighe & Bond, an engineering and environmental services firm.
Tracy Adamski of Northampton, who joined Tighe & Bond in 2001 as the company’s first planner, has been named senior planner. Adamski’s experience in land use planning includes smart growth techniques, by-law development, energy resources, brownfields, wetlands and environmental resources, stormwater, wastewater and infrastructure planning. She holds a bachelor of science in biology from Worcester Polytechnic Institute, and has 18 years of professional planning experience.
Nancy E. Milkey of Granby, who joined the firm in 1996, has been named a project manager. A licensed site professional, Milkey has expertise in the areas of brownfields and environmental remediation, and has managed 11 major EPA brownfields projects. She earned a bachelor of science in wildlife biology and a master of science in hydrogeology from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
Dan Rukakoski of Southampton, who joined Tighe & Bond in 2006, has been named a senior environmental scientist. Rukakoski manages the firm’s Wetland and Ecological Services Group. In addition to being a professional wetland scientist, he is a professional soil scientist recognized by the Society of Soil Scientists of Southern New England. Rukakoski earned a bachelor of science in natural resources management and engineering from the University of Connecticut.
