GOSHEN — Caring, respectful and “the most comical guy in the world” are the words the friends and family of Anthony Gamache use to describe the late Goshen man, who died Wednesday after suffering a gunshot wound in what police term a drug transaction. “He would give you the shirt off his back,” his wife, Frances Gamache, said in an interview Friday. “He was the love of my life.” Gamache, 29, died the day after he was shot in the leg in a vehicle in the parking lot of Big Y on West Street in Pittsfield, according to a report by the Berkshire Eagle.
