The Belchertown girls tennis first doubles team of Morgan O’Connor and Angela Grabazs won a pair of tiebreakers as the Orioles upset Palmer 3-2 at Ludlow Tennis Club on Friday and qualified for the Western Massachusetts Division 3 Tournament. Friday was a good day on the home diamonds for Smith Academy. The softball team kept its hope alive of making the postseason for the first time since 2002 with a 4-1 victory over rival Hopkins Academy.
