Suspect allegedly shoplifts laundry supplies — and other area police news


■A laptop, tablet computer and money were among items stolen from a residence at Mill Hollow Apartments, 175 Summer St., in a break-in reported at 10:43 p.m. Sunday. Entry to the home was made though a smashed window and damaged screen sometime after noon, police said.


■Delia Marie Caballero, 26, who listed her address as the streets of Massachusetts, was arrested at 2:45 p.m. Oct. 18 at Lord Jeffery Apartments on four warrants.


■ Keith Morin, 56, of 65 Clark St., was listed in good condition at Cooley Dickinson Hospital in Northampton Monday afternoon following an early morning accident at the intersection of Clark and East streets.

Police said Morin was attempting to turn right from East Street onto Clark Street but took the corner too tightly and sideswiped a utility pole at 2:27 a.m.

■ Andrea E. Einhaus, 24, of 23 Olive St., Northampton, was arrested on O’Neill Street at 1:22 a.m. Monday on charges of operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol and failing to stay within marked lanes.

■ David F. Tabb, 36, of Westfield, was arrested at 49 Franklin St. at 3:13 a.m. Sunday on charges of breaking and entering in the nighttime with the intent to commit a misdemeanor. Police said Tabb entered his ex-girlfriend’s home while she was home to spy on her.

■ Richard L. Furioni, 27, of 15 Jones Drive, was arrested at home at 7:22 a.m. Saturday on a warrant.

■ Shawn P. Heckley, 19, of 19 Roy St., Chicopee, was arrested on Main Street at 1:01 a.m. Saturday on a charge of possession of a Class D drug (marijuana) with intent to distribute.

■ Lucas A. Martineau, 23, of 15 Colonial Ave., was arrested at 12:42 a.m. Wednesday on charges of malicious destruction of property under $250 and disorderly conduct. Police said he was throwing traffic cones off the Manhan Bridge, which is under construction.

■ Joseph T. Piekarski, 21, of 13 Lincoln St., was arrested at 11:55 p.m. Oct. 15 on a charge of assault and battery after allegedly grabbing a man by the neck on the sidewalk of Holyoke Street.

■Anna Davis, 88, of 5 Town Lane, was treated and released from Cooley Dickinson Hospital in Northampton after the car she was driving struck and snapped a utility pole on East Street at 3:49 p.m. Oct. 15. Davis told police she was blinded by the sun while driving south near 249 East St. and her car drifted off the road and struck a utility pole.


■Ramiro Dejesus Jr., 42, whose address is listed as the streets of Northampton, was arrested about 10:15 p.m. Sunday on King Street on a charge of shoplifting by concealing merchandise after allegedly taking about $47 worth of laundry supplies and a baseball cap from 7-Eleven, 60 King St., police said.


■Ethan J. Diaz, 22, of Fitchburg, was arrested at 5:32 p.m. Saturday on North Pleasant Street on charges of operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol and failure to stop for pedestrians in a crosswalk.

■Jackson C. Schroeder, 19, of Sherborn, was arrested at 2:50 a.m. Friday at Washington dormitory on a charge of domestic assault and battery.
