Friday’s high school lacrosse: South Hadley rolls past Northampton

Tom Crotty scored four goals as the South Hadley boys lacrosse team rolled to a 12-6 win over Northampton at home Friday.

Evan Marcus (three assists), T.J. Fitzell (one assist) and Sam Duda each scored twice for South Hadley (13-3), while Pat Fitzgerald, and Tom Down (one assists) each scored a goal and Ryan Dickinson had three assists in front of Jake Lesiure (15 saves).

Will Lombardi (two goals), Ben Davis (goal, assist) and Peter Higgins (two assists) each had two points for Hamp (7-7), while Simon Harrity, Cody Malone and Jared Yarde scored a goal a piece, while Tyler Walsh made 12 saves.

Agawam 17, Holyoke Catholic 1 — Joey McCoy scored the goal for the Gaels (2-11) on the road.

Girls lacrosse

Longmeadow 15, Belchertown 4 — Natalie Caney had one goal and one assist for the Orioles (10-4-1) in the loss on the road.

Kat Lowe, Emma Jopson and Breana Allen each scored once.

Abbey Norden made two saves.
