A pair of local ballclubs ended their seasons with thrilling 1-0 victories on Memorial Day. Another made sure its season kept on going. The Northampton High School baseball team beat Agawam, 1-0, in its season finale at home Monday. The Amherst Regional softball team knocked off tournament-bound Agawam, 1-0, in Agawam. And the Holyoke Catholic baseball team beat Smith Vocational, 13-4, in Chicopee to qualify for the Western Massachusetts Division 4 Tournament.
