Amherst’s Wednesday Market to be last of season
AMHERST — The last Wednesday Market of the year at Kendrick Park will feature 15 vendors, musical performances and blacksmithing demonstrations.
The 26th and final market of the season, which takes place Wednesday from 2 to 6 p.m., will feature a variety of products for sale, including apples and peaches from Apex Orchards, bread and cookies from El Jardin Bakery, garden produce from Sweet Roots Gardens and coffee from Western Woods Coffee.
Clothing made by Taproot Threads will also be on sale, along with art from the Good Life Collective.
Tim Van Egmond will perform at 2 p.m., followed by Alec Hutson at 4 p.m.
Vendors at the market will be matching Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (food stamps) vouchers for up to $5.
