Amherst Police

• James A. Harris, 19, who provided addresses as Pomeroy Lane and Village Park, was arrested Oct. 29 at 12:02 a.m. at Mill Valley Estates on a charge of trespassing and was arrested Oct. 26 at 5:28 p.m. on Kellogg Avenue near North Pleasant Street on a charge of disorderly conduct, police said.

• A 20-year-old Bridgewater man will be summoned to court on a charge of malicious destruction of property under $250 after he damaged a mailbox on Hobart Lane Oct. 28 at 12:50 a.m., police said.

• James R. MacGregor, 19, of Manchester, was arrested Oct. 27 at 9:54 p.m. on Summer Street on charges of operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol, failure to stop at a stop sign and being a minor in possession of alcohol, police said.

• Three people will be summoned to court on charges of littering after they deliberately threw items on the ground in front of the police station Oct. 27 at 7:43 a.m., police said.

• Jeremy S. Carroll, 21, of Hulst Road, was arrested Oct. 27 at 12:35 a.m. on Bay Road on charges of operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol, unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, negligent operation of a motor vehicle to endanger, failure to stay within marked lanes, operating a motor vehicle with no license in possession and leaving the scene of a property damage accident after the vehicle he was driving ran into a telephone pole, took off from crash scene, then ran off the road a short time later, police said.

• Robert Danielson, 23, of Burlington, was arrested Oct. 26 at 10:17 p.m. on North Pleasant Street near Hallock Street on charges of operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol and failure to stay within marked lanes, police said.

• Patrick J. Kenseth, 21, of Coatesville, Pa., was arrested Oct. 26 at 2:46 a.m. on Boltwood Walk on a charge of larceny under $250 after he stole a banner outside a restaurant, police said.

• Breonna E. Riley, 21, of Boston, N.Y., was arrested Oct. 26 at 1:34 a.m. on North Pleasant Street on a charge of disorderly conduct following an incident in which she police say she crawled into a taxi cab and refused to get out from it, police said.

• Shamell C. Nichols, 24, of Springfield, was arrested Oct. 26 at 1:17 a.m. on Main Street on charges of operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license, police said.

• Francisco Yunga, 39, of Colonial Village, was arrested Oct, 25 at 8:04 p.m. on Mill Lane on charges of operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol, failure to stop at a red light and unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, police said.

Miller, 22, of Keefe Campus Center, Amherst College, was arrested Oct. 25 at 1:39 a.m. on Main Street on charges of operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol, operating a motor vehicle with no registration sticker and possession of an open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle, police said.

• Joseph G. Doody, 23, of South Hadley, was arrested Oct. 24 at 11:37 p.m. on West Street on charges of operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol and failure to use care in stopping after the vehicle he was driving rear-ended a vehicle, police said.

• Lee A.J. Sowers, 37, of Mill Valley Estates, was arrested Oct. 24 at 2:46 a.m. on West Street on charges of operating a motor vehicle with a revoked license and operating a motor vehicle with a lights violation, police said.

• Adalgisa M. Orsini, 34, of Comins Road, Hadley, was arrested Oct. 24 at 1:11 a.m. on Amity Street on charges of domestic assault and battery after she pushed another woman to the ground, police said.

• A 46-year-old Amherst woman will be summoned to court on charges of altering prescriptions and obtaining prescription medication by fraud following an incident at an Amherst pharmacy reported to police Sept. 28, police said.

UMass Police

• A 14-year-old was arrested Oct. 22 at 11:42 p.m. at Gorman dormitory on charges of malicious destruction of property over $250, assault with a dangerous weapon and carrying a dangerous weapon on school grounds, police said.

• Wade Jones, 23, of Fitchburg, was arrested Oct. 20 at 2:08 a.m. on Nutting Avenue on charges of operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol and speeding, police said.
