Brittany Baumann & Alexander Cooley
Brittany Sage Baumann and Alexander Shepard Cooley of Greenfield were married May 26 at Look Park in Northampton. The Rev. Rachael Baumann, the bride’s sister, officiated at the 4 p.m. ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Paul Baumann Jr. of Sheffield and Rose Baumann of Great Barrington. The bridegroom is the son of Daniel and Sylvia Cooley of Amherst.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held at Chandler’s Restaurant in South Deerfield.
Rachael Baumann was the maid of honor. The bridesmaids were Lauren Baumann, the bride’s sister, Keri Godfrey and Gabi Roitberg, the bridegroom’s godsister.
Godfrey Bakuli was the best man. The groomsmen were Ted Hanno, Patrick Burand, Chris McCoy and Zach Goodman.
The bride, 26, is a special education teacher at Jackson Street Elementary School in Northampton. A 2003 graduate of Monument Mountain Regional High School in Great Barrington, she received a bachelor’s degree in psychology in 2007 and a master’s degree in special education in 2009, both from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
The groom, 27, is a firefighter for the town of Greenfield. A 2003 graduate of Amherst Regional High School, he received a bachelor’s degree in communications from the University of Southern California in Los Angeles, Calif., in 2007.
