Name released of Erving man who died in farming accident
WARWICK (AP) — Authorities have released the name of the man who died in a farming accident in Warwick this week.
The Northwestern district attorney’s office says 77-year-old Kenneth Hubbard Jr. of Erving was haying when his Belgian draft horses were suddenly startled, causing him to fall to the ground. He was dragged a short distance and pronounced dead at the scene.
An autopsy is scheduled to determine the exact cause of death. It was reported that Hubbard was well-known and respected in Warwick and Erving and his draft horses appeared in many area parades and festivals.
