Man found dead in Easthampton park identified as Adam Landry
EASTHAMPTON — The 33-year-old man whose body was discovered in a Main Street park Monday has been identified as Adam Landry of 367 Main St.
In a statement Tuesday, the Northwestern district attorney’s office said no foul play is suspected in the death. It is still under investigation by Easthampton police and the state police detective unit assigned to the district attorney’s office.
Police Chief Bruce McMahon said the state medical examiner’s office has yet to determine the cause of death.
Landry’s body was discovered Monday just after 10 a.m. when an officer responded to a call about a man apparently sleeping in the gazebo in Pulaski Park, a small park in the center of the rotary in downtown Easthampton.
