Amherst

■ Cassidy P. Doherty-Crespin, 19, of Ipswich, and John P. Huntington., 19, of Milton, were arrested Monday at 2:22 a.m. on North Pleasant Street on charges of larceny from a building after they were found carrying painted signs belonging to an Allen Street fraternity, police said.

Doherty-Crespin also faces a charge of being a minor in possession of alcohol, while Huntington also faces a charge of possessing a fake ID.

■ Michael P. Sullivan, 22, of Malden, was arrested Monday at 1:26 a.m. on College Street on a charge of operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol.

■ Tyler Perkins Hitchcock, 22, of Abington, was arrested Monday at 1:21 a.m. on Northampton Road on a charge of operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol.

■ Rileigh A. Damon, 23, of 41 Aqua Vitae Road, Hadley, was arrested Sunday at 6:10 a.m. on Sunderland Road on charges of operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of liquor and operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of drugs.

■ Lauren Derouin, 22, of 196 Triangle St., was arrested Sunday at 1:06 a.m. on Kellogg Avenue on a charge of operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol.

■ Manu Kumar, 19, of Westford, was arrested Friday at 11:22 p.m. on Triangle Street on a charge of operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol.

■ Ted Charles Ilnicky, 38, of 58 Long Hill Road, Leverett, was arrested Friday at 12:32 p.m. at Big Y supermarket, 175 University Drive, on a charge of shoplifting.

Belchertown

■ Jacob F. Carey, 19, of 526 Bardwell St., was arrested Saturday at 8:14 p.m. at a Belchertown home on charges of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and intimidating a witness.

■ Charles S. Shaw, 49, of 13 Sarah Lane, was arrested Saturday at 12:41 p.m. at a Belchertown home on a charge of assault and battery.

Hadley

■ Juan Oliva, 27, of Springfield, was arrested Saturday at 1:36 a.m. on Route 9 on a charge of operating a motor vehicle with a revoked license.

■ Edgar Selavka, 55, of 73 North Maple St., was arrested Friday at 11:30 p.m. at home on a warrant.

■ Conrad E. Kruzel, 39, of 43 Center St., Northampton, was arrested Friday at 12:48 p.m. at Whole Foods Market at Mountain Farms Mall on a charge of shoplifting (third offense).

Northampton

■ Paul Matukaitis, 30, of Palmer, was arrested about 1:06 a.m. Monday on Main Street on charges of walking on railroad tracks, assault and battery on a police officer and resisting arrest. Police said Matukaitis fled when officers approached him on the tracks near Union Station, then struck an officer several times with his elbow.
