Two arrested after stop by police in Leeds

Justin A. Lesko, 41, of 59A Whately Road, South Deerfield, was arrested at 12:44 a.m. on a charge of operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol, police said.

Lesko’s vehicle was initially stopped after officers determined he had an expired and non-renewable license, police said.

While officers allowed Jayme Richard Malinowski, 26, of 53 Florence St., Leeds, to return to his nearby home, he refused to calm down and follow instructions, instead repeatedly yelling at officers and disturbing the neighborhood to such an extent that lights began coming on in homes and residents were looking out their windows, police said.

Malinowski was arrested on a charge of disorderly conduct, police said.
