Hadley police issue warning about suspicious white van
HADLEY — Hadley Police on Saturday responded to a report of a suspicious white van on Woodlawn Road with a man inside who was believed to be watching young children in the area.
Police said it was reported that the van had older-style Massachusetts plates with green letters. Police said they had no other information, but urged people to call them if they have any additional information, or see similar suspicious activity. The Police Department’s business line is 413-584-0883 and emergency line is 9-1-1.
∎ Police took a report of a breaking and entering at 39 Graves Ave. Saturday at 11:14 p.m. According to police, it appears someone cut a window screen and took a backback containing $150 in cash and various credit cards from the home. Police said they have no suspects.
∎ A city man reported Saturday at 5:34 p.m. that someone had stolen $3,000 worth of Magic the Gathering magic cards from a barn at 45 Reservoir Road. Police have no suspects.
∎ Christopher Webb, 35, of 421 N. Main St. Apt. BL6 in Leeds, was arrested Saturday at 4:15 a.m. at the Police Station on Center Street on a warrant.
∎ James Michon, 25, of 110 Cherry St. Apt. 2 in Holyoke, was arrested Friday at 2:30 p.m. at Cooley Dickinson Hospital on a warrant.
∎ Robert Christopher McNulty, 42, of 8 Spring St. Apt. #2L, was arrested on Bridge St. at 8:03 p.m. Aug. 17 on a charge of failing to stop/yield and operating a motor vehicle with a suspended/revoked license (subsequent offense).
∎ John Frank Lukasiewicz, 23, of 43 Woodlawn St., and Andrew James Kirkpatrick, 30, of Chicopee, were arrested on Lincoln Avenue at 12:05 a.m. Aug. 15 following a traffic stop. Lukasiewicz was arrested on charges of operating a motor vehicle that does not meet Registry of Motor Vehicle safety standards and operating a motor vehicle with a suspended/revoked license. Kirkpatrick was arrested on a warrant and on drug possession (Class A).
∎ Emmanuel Ponky Rivera, 26, of Holyoke, was arrested on the Purple Heart Drive rotary at 1:54 a.m. Aug. 14 on charges of operating a motor vehicle with suspended/revoked registration and failing to drive in the right lane.
