Two hurt in two-car crash on I-91 South in Hatfield Tuesday night
HATFIELD — Two people were injured after the vehicle they were in rolled over as a result of a two-car accident Tuesday night on I-91 south in Hatfield.
State Police Trooper Dustin Fitch said that at 11:43 p.m., a vehicle driven by Tylor Sevene, 20, of South Deerfield, rolled over near Exit 22. Sevene was trapped inside until Hatfield firefighters and EMTs freed him. He was taken to a hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening, Fitch said, but he did not know which hospital.
Sevene’s passenger, a 26-year-old woman from Ludlow whom Fitch declined to name, was taken to Baystate Medical Center with injuries that were not life-threatening.
Fitch said the driver of the other vehicle involved, Mo Mingsheng, 44, of Amsterdam, New York, was not injured.
Fitch said Wednesday evening he did not have any information on the cause of the accident because the investigating officers had not finished their report.
