Deefield man among 3 injured in Greenfield car crash
GREENFIELD — Three people taken to the hospital after a one-car crash on Bernardston Road are on the mend.
The crash at about 4:30 p.m. Friday sent a Deerfield man and his two passengers to the emergency room at Baystate Franklin Medical Center.
According to Greenfield Police reports, Cody Adams, 20, of Deerfield was driving south on Bernardston Road when his car went off the road and into the shoulder and hit a utility pole. Greenfield firefighters had to extricate Adams and his passengers, Trevor Peloquin, 20, of Greenfield, and Natasha Laury, 21, whose address is unknown, from the Toyota Echo.
A hospital spokesman said that Adams was released from Baystate Franklin Medical Center. Peloquin and Laury remain in good condition at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield.
Greenfield Police Sgt. Mark Williams said Adams was cited for failure to stay within marked lanes.
Williams said Western Massachusetts Electric Co. arrived shortly after the accident to repair the pole.
