In the pink

Northampton Mayor David Narkewicz, left, ties the first pink ribbon Thursday during "Paint the Pink Path", a walk from City Hall to Cooley Dickinson Hospital where walkers tied more than 50 ribbons to utility poles for breast cancer awareness month. The event was a partnership between the Northampton Health Department and Cooley Dickinson Hospital. A reception for the walkers was held at the hospital and appointments for mammograms were taken. Later, Dr. Mansi Saksena, of Massachusetts General Hospital spoke.
