  • Above, Betty Turner of Granby tries to decide on a dessert at the Lenten lunch at All Saints Episcopal Church in South Hadley last week. The  lunches are served from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on all six Fridays during Lent as part of an outreach program that has been running for 43 years. The annual event  sends about $3,000 in gifts to local and national food, shelter, and community programs.  <br/>Below, Mary Alice Osgood of South Hadley, right, pours coffee for Mary Balfour at the church. <br/> <br/>            Lobster rolls, heirloom meatless soups, several new sandwich and salad items, as well as homemade desserts are all featured at the Lenten Lunches at All Saints’ Episcopal Church, 7 Woodbridge St. in South Hadley.  B<br/>            Take-out orders are available by calling 532-8917.  Parking is in the rear of the church which is fully handicapped accessible.
