NH boy dies in apparent drowning
WELLESLEY (AP) — A 10-year-old New Hampshire boy has died in an apparent drowning after being pulled out of a pond in Massachusetts.
A family member reported that Alexander Glennon of Manchester, N.H., was missing about 6 p.m. Saturday while the family was at a beach on Morses Pond in Wellesley.
Police say the boy was found about an hour later in 4 feet of water about 30 feet offshore. He was taken to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Police say the pond was closed to the public on Sunday so they could continue their investigation.
