Area briefs: Church fairs, flu clinic


CHURCH BAZAAR: The Adoration of the Most Blessed Sacrament Society of St. Valentine’s Polish National Catholic Church is holding its Christmas bazaar Saturday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Parish Hall of the church at 127 King St. Items for sale include Christmas decorations and Christmas wafers (oplatki). There will be a food and bake sale, a rummage sale and more. For more information, call the rectory office at 584-0133.

FLU CLINIC: The VNA & Hospice of Cooley Dickinson is hosting a flu clinic for people 19 and older Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon at Greenfield Savings Bank, 325A King St., Northampton. Please bring Medicare or private insurance cards to the clinic. Cost of vaccine is $30, but no one will be denied care due to inability to pay or for lack of health insurance.


HOLIDAY FAIR: Holiday crafts, decorations and homemade foods will be on display Saturday at the Westhampton Congregational United Church of Christ’s annual Holiday House Fair from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the church, 1 Tob Road. There will be dry goods and spices, cookbooks, handmade Christmas ornaments, plants and flowers and a children’s table with activities to keep kids entertained while their parents shop.

Participants can bid on handcrafted jewelry, a teddy bear and a Thanksgiving platter from Williams Sonoma at the Tea Cup Silent Auction. The fair also includes a luncheon with homemade Montague donuts. For details, call 527-4204.
