Police warn motorists to lock their doors after string of vehicle breaks in Florence

Northampton Police Capt. Scott A. Savino said twelve cars were broken into late Monday night and early Tuesday morning.

Savino said it appears that all of the cars were unlocked. Loose change and wallets were the items most commonly reported stolen, Savino said.

Three vehicles on Acrebrook Drive were reportedly broken in to. Other breaks were reported on Burts Pit and Maple Ridge roads, Dunphy, Pencasal and Drewson drives, Austin and Brookside circles and Redford and Cahillane terraces, according to police.
