Easthampton’s old high school still polling place in Tuesday’s election
Voters in Tuesday’s special state primary will cast their ballots at the usual polling places: White Brook Middle School and the now vacant former Easthampton High School.
Although students are now attending classes in the new high school next door, the old school on Williston Avenue remains the polling site for residents in Precincts 3 and 4.
“This will be the very last event to take place in the old high school before it’s given over to the contractor for asbestos abatement and then demolition,” City Clerk Barbara LaBombard said.
She said there is a fence around the old school, but voters can access it through a gate.
Residents from Precincts 1, 2, and 5 vote at White Brook Middle School on Park Street. Polls are open 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
