City woman arrested after Fruit St. break-in
NORTHAMPTON — Police Monday night arrested a woman they say stole prescription drugs from a neighbor’s apartment after breaking in through a bedroom window.
Marlee Luella Wanczyk, 27, of Cahill Apartments on Fruit Street, faces charges of felony daytime breaking and entering and larceny from a building.
Police said the the alleged victim reported about 7:39 p.m. that medications were missing from her coffee table and bedroom dresser.
Interviews with another neighbor led police to Wanczyk, who was stopped while walking on North Elm Street around 10 p.m.

One hurt in King Street crash in Northampton
NORTHAMPTON — A Florence man was taken to the hospital with injuries he sustained in a two-car accident at 3:57 p.m. Monday at King and Church streets.
Police said Kurt D. Robinson, 34, of Florence Road, was driving north on King Street when his car collided with another vehicle driven by Eric M. McCourt, 23, of King Street, Northampton.
Police said McCourt pulled out of a driveway and then attempted to turn back around. Robinson’s car hit his vehicle on the driver’s side door.
Police said McCourt was temporarily trapped in his car following the crash and city firefighters had to use extrication equipment to remove him. He was taken to Cooley Dickinson Hospital with a leg injury and head pain. A hospital spokeswoman said McCourt was treated and released on Monday.
Police cited McCourt for failure to use care in turning.

■ Reginald Crapps, 24, of Springfield, was arrested Tuesday at 5:32 a.m. at home on a charge of domestic assault and battery after he allegedly threw a woman into a sliding glass door at an Amherst residence at 2:57 a.m., police said.
■ Police are investigating the theft of a purse containing more than $250 in cash and credit cards from an employee at Cooley Dickinson Hospital. After receiving a report of the theft at 11:42 p.m. Monday, police found the purse near Northampton Market on Old South Street sometime after 11:30 p.m. with evidence that someone had tried to use credit cards inside.
■ A resident of Hampshire Woods on Oak Street reported Monday at 7:26 p.m. that two video game systems and games worth about $750 had been stolen from his apartment. Police said a break-in was reported at the same apartment two months ago.
■ Bruce G. Andrews, 49, of Colonial Village, Amherst, was arrested Monday at 11:40 a.m. on at the VA Central Western Massachusetts Healthcare System, 421 North Main St., Leeds, on two warrants out of Northampton District Court and Eastern Hampshire District Court.
■ Jeremy J. Robinson, 33, of Syracuse, N.Y., was arrested Sunday at 11:18 p.m. at the Campus Center Hotel on a warrant.
■ Alexa A. Drozdowski, 23, of Turners Falls, was arrested Sunday at 12:53 a.m. on Thatcher Road on charges of operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol, obstructing a stationary emergency vehicle and negligent operation of a motor vehicle.
■ Junhee So, 24, of 248 Amherst Road, Unit A5, Sunderland, was arrested Friday at 11:54 p.m. on North Pleasant Street on a charge of operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license.
■ Hazell A. Killen, 23, of Lawrence, was arrested Friday at 2:04 a.m. at John Quincy Adams dormitory on a charge of domestic assault and battery.
