PARKINSON’S DISEASE MOVEMENT AND YOGA
Two classes movement and yoga class for those with Parkinson’s Disease will be offered Wednesday mornings beginning this week.
Classes combine seated and supported dance, yoga and vocalization to improve dexterity, strength, flexibility and balance.

THERAPY FOR DEPRESSION
An eight-week class for people with a history of depression and anxiety will be held Wednesdays beginning Oct. 2. The class teaches strategies to shift the thoughts, feelings and body sensations that contribute to depressive relapse.

Hospice of the Fisher Home in Amherst is seeking adults who are good listeners and good storytellers for its volunteer visiting program.
Volunteers share interests, providing emotional support, assist with kitchen and clerical chores and run errands. Classes will be held Thursdays, 4:30 to 7 p.m., for seven weeks beginning Oct. 3. YOGA CENTERS COLLABORATE
Indigo Wholistic Healing Center of Florence and Breathing Deeply Yoga Studio of Northampton are joining forces to offer yoga classes in the center of Florence at the Indigo studios.
