The workshop is geared particularly towards first-time farm workers but is open to anyone who will be working on a farm this summer.

A donation of $5 is suggested. No advance registration is necessary. Light refreshments will be provided. For more information, contact Irons at (603) 883-1809 or email her at info@theflexiblefarmer.com.

Topics include strategies for the care of infants — such as handling, feeding, and diapering — as well as fire safety, first aid, emergency contact training, and CPR.

Participants should bring lunch to the class. The cost of the class is $40; register online at www.cooley-dickinson.org/classes.
