PALLIATIVE CARE
Cooley Dickinson-affiliated physicians, nurses and representatives from the Cooley Dickinson Patient Family Advisory Committee will offer a presentation on palliative care March 27 at 1 p.m. at the Easthampton Council on Aging Enrichment Center, 19 Union St.
Speakers include Jeffrey Zesiger, M.D., director of the Palliative Care Program, Maureen Groden, R.N., of the Cooley Dickinson VNA & Hospice Program, and Patient Family Advisory Committee Members Ray Ducharme, Howard Nenner and Don Reutener. WALK/RUN TO REMEMBER
The Garden: A Center for Grieving Children and Teens, will hold the 15th annual “Walk/Run to Remember” fundraising event April 27 at 9:30 a.m. This community event raises awareness and support for area families who have experienced the death of a loved one. The event starts and ends at the Hampshire Regional YMCA, and is followed by refreshments, prizes, a bounce house and swimming. Registration is available online at www.hrymca.org. MINDFULNESS AND MEDITATION
Two classes on Mindfulness and Meditation will be offered in Hadley.
A class for 18- to 25-year-olds will meet Thursday, 4 to 5:30 p.m., beginning March 28. A separate class for all ages will meet Wednesdays, 9 to 10:30 a.m., beginning April 3.

MEDITATION FOR STRESS MANAGEMENT
Community members are invited to participate in a free orientation at Cooley Dickinston Hospital to learn the benefits of mindfulness-based stress reduction.
Interested participants may then sign up for an eight-week stress reduction course that uses several meditation techniques.
Orientation will be held March 26 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. in the Dakin Conference Room at Cooley Dickinson Hospital. The class is offered Tuesdays, April 2 through May 21.
