Sarah Chisholm Rosenblatt & Joseph Robert Flaherty



Sarah Chisholm Rosenblatt and Joseph Robert Flaherty, of Jackson Heights, N.Y., were married Aug. 4 at the Easthampton home of the bride’s parents. Grace Patterson, a friend of the couple, officiated at the 5 p.m. ceremony.

The bride, who is keeping her name, is the daughter of Joshua and Katherine Rosenblatt. The bridegroom is the son of Joseph Edward Flaherty of Latham, N.Y., and the late Lorraine Flaherty.

Following a reception at the Garden House at Look Park in Florence, the couple honeymooned in northern Italy.

Allison Rosenblatt, the bride’s sister, was the maid of honor. The bridesmaids were Andrew Diehl, Michelle Schrank and Rachel Padowicz. The flower girl was Victoria Rosenblatt, the bride’s cousin.

Joseph Miceli was the best man. The groomsmen were Amy Flaherty, the bridegroom’s sister, Jim DelBelso and Santoch Vaghela. The ring bearer was Solomon Rosenblatt, the bride’s cousin.

The bride, 24, is a preservation architect for Murphy Burnham & Buttrick Architects of New York, N.Y. A 2005 graduate of the Emma Willard School in Troy, N.Y., she received a bachelor’s degree in architecture from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, N.Y., in 2010 and a master’s degree in historic preservation from Columbia University, New York, N.Y., in 2012.

The bridegroom, 26, is a computer programmer for Kuma Games in New York, N.Y. A 2004 graduate of Shaker High School in Latham, N.Y., he received a bachelor’s degree in computer science from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, N.Y. in 2008.
