Jeff and Jackie Harrington of Nottingham, N.H., are pleased to announce the marriage of their daughter, Liza Harrington, to Michael Sustick, son of Paul and Elizabeth Sustick of Northampton. The ceremony and reception were held on Aug. 10 in Northampton, where the bride and groom make their home.

The ceremony, officiated by Michelle Ryan, a friend of the couple, was the first ever held at the Northampton Community Gardens. The bride and groom are members of the community gardens and grew some of the produce that was prepared and served at the reception.

Kelley Harrington, sister of the bride, was the maid of honor. Friends Shamara Jones, Katie Vachon and Kristen Wallerius, and sister-in-law Paule Sustick, were bridesmaids. Shamara Jones provided invaluable help with planning and preparation for the day.

Nate Sustick, brother of the groom, was the best man. Emily Sustick, sister of the groom, was the groom’s lady, and friends Andrew Korza, Trevor Tattan, Ben Alper and Ben McLeod were the groomsmen. Henry Sustick, nephew of the groom, was the ring bearer and Norah Sustick, niece of the groom, was the flower girl.

Paul and Elizabeth’s restaurant, owned by the groom’s parents, was transformed into a lovely reception space. Nate Sustick, who is general manager of the restaurant, was thrilled to plan and serve a delicious vegetarian meal for the reception’s 120 guests.

The couple honeymooned in Maui, Hawaii.

The bride graduated from Dover High School, Dover, N.H., and from Suffolk University and Simmons College, both in Boston. She is a librarian at Greenfield Community College. The groom graduated from Northampton High School and from Lesley University in Cambridge. He is a kindergarten teacher at Four Corners School in Greenfield.
