Michael James Frenier
NORTHAMPTON — Michael James Frenier, 37, of Florence, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, July 18, 2013.
Michael was born Aug. 17, 1975, at Cooley Dickinson Hospital in Northampton. He was a 1993 graduate of Northampton High School. He was a gifted athlete who played lacrosse for Northampton High.
Michael attended Stockbridge School of Agriculture and was an exceptional and talented arborist who took pride in his work. He loved the outdoors and was most happy while working outside. His mechanical skills and passion for agriculture were a perfect match while employed at a local farm in Hadley.
Michael will be deeply missed by his parents, Jean Bryant and Joseph Ustaitis Jr. of Florence, and James Frenier and Jeanne LaForest of East Providence, R.I. He will also be lovingly remembered by his brothers, Christopher Frenier of Johnston, R.I., and Seth Ustaitis of Dracut; his sisters-in-law, Amy Frenier and Jolene Ustaitis; his nephews Jack, Cameron and Vincent Frenier, and his nieces Ava, Harlen and Layla Ustaitis. He will also be in the prayers and hearts of his grandmothers, Pearl Bryant and Eleanor Frenier, both of Florence. His spirit will be forever remembered by his large extended family which includes many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Michael was predeceased by his grandfathers, Charles Bryant of Northampton and Edward Frenier of Florence. He was also predeceased by his aunt Joan Bryant of Florence.
Always friendly and gregarious, Michael will be remembered most for his spark and his outgoing nature.
Calling hours will be Tuesday from 4 to 6 p.m. with a brief memorial service to be held at 5:30 p.m. at Ahearn Funeral Home.
