Caregiver Support Group, second and fourth Tuesdays of every month.

The Easthampton Curmudgeon & Procrastination Society, a men’s discussion group that meets the second Thursday of every month.

Friends’ Café, every Thursday, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Serving a limited menu of soup, salad and half sandwich. A dessert item will be available as well. No pre-ordering or take-out orders.

Board Game Night, Thursdays, 5:30 to 7 p.m.

Tai chi, Thursdays, 7 p.m., and Fridays, 9 a.m., with instructor Earl Lizotte. Suggested donation $2.

Quilting class, Fridays, 1 p.m.

Mah-jongg, Mondays, 1:30 p.m. Beginners to experienced welcome. Gameboards and tiles provided. Call to pre-register.

Bingo, Tuesdays, 1 to 3 p.m., seating begins at 12:20. Cards are 25 cents each.

Ballroom dance lessons, every Tuesday, 6 p.m., beginners, 7 p.m., intermediate and advanced, with instructors Stephen and Roxanne. $5 per class.

Osteoporosis exercise class, every Wednesday, 10:30 a.m., with instructor Glafyra Ennis-Yentsch. $3 donation.

Active Adult Hikes: Open to people from all communities, ages 55 and over. Participants should be able to hike 3 to 4 miles over a variety of terrain. Bring water, snacks, hiking poles and appropriate clothing and footwear. Preregistration is required for all hikes. Mount Lincoln in Belchertown, July 12; Bullitt Reservation and Chapel Ledges in Ashfield, Aug. 9; Ashuwillticook Rail Trail, Sept. 13.

Van trips: 48-hour advanced reservation is required for all local trips.

Local trips: Big E’s, every Friday at 10 a.m., $2; Big Y, every Wednesday, 9:30 a.m. and 1 p.m., $3; Friends Cafe for Lunch, every Thursday, 10:30 a.m.

Fitness Center for Easthampton residents 55 and up; cycles, treadmills, elliptical, strength training equipment. Open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Tuesdays, 6 to 8 p.m. and Thursdays until 8 p.m. $50 per year. Orientation and completed medical forms are necessary prior to use.

SHINE Program provides assistance with health insurance issues, drug coverage and more. By appointment only.

Outreach program available to Easthampton residents. Providing information/referral services on a wide variety of issues. Both office and in-home visits available.

The Council on Aging van is easy access and is equipped with a wheelchair lift. Van service is available to seniors for appointments and is used for local or out-of-town special trips listed in the newsletter. Reservations 48 hours in advance.

Notary service is available for residents 60 and over, in-office and home visits possible. By appointment only. Donations toward services appreciated.

The Enrichment Center is looking for Cafe volunteers and companion drivers. Call for information about these and other possible positions.

Looking for something to do with your grandchildren this summer? Bring them to the senior center to play board games, puzzles, and Nintendo Wii during our regular hours.

The Council On Aging’s Caring Community Assistance Program is looking for volunteers and paid workers to provide handyman services, yard work and lawn mowing for senior residents of Southampton. Criminal background check required. Please contact Jane at 529-2105 for more information.

The Westhampton Council On Aging welcomes all seniors 60 and over to the noon luncheons held the first Thursday of every month at the Westhampton Congregational Church on Tob Road. Musical entertainment or a guest speaker follows lunch. Arrive early to have blood pressure checks and to sign cards. Bring a nonperishable food donation for the Easthampton Community Center Food Cupboard. Council on Aging board meetings are held on the last Friday of the month at 1:30 p.m. at Westhampton Woods, unit F.
