Style Stop: Thomas Morf
Thomas Morf, who lives and works in Boston, says he sometimes feels like taking the tip money from his coffee-shop job and picking up a whole new outfit at a thrift store on the way home — shirt, pants, belt and all. Morf was dressed in an outfit that blended casual and business-style when the Style Stop team found him on Main Street in Northampton, out to get a haircut.
Shoes: Mismatched laces is fine, I’m pretty sure these shoes came from a thrift store for under $5.
Favorite Color: I said, “Give me the blue one” enough as a kid to have my parents thinking I might be colorblind. Blue is just my favorite color.
THE WATCH: I used to work with kids at a camp and this was left behind one year. It reminded me of a watch I had when I was 10.
shirt: Mom went three-for five-with shirts as Christmas gifts last year, and this is one of those three. I discreetly donated the other two.
Black and brown: I’ve heard people call it a “boy’s match,” but I hadn’t worn black jeans in a while. Black goes with everything.
