AVERIC Purchase photo reprints »
Averic is a 9-year-old African-American boy seeking a permanent home.
He is quiet and reserved in new situations, but is able to form relationships once comfortable. Averic has good self-help skills and can also be very helpful to others. Averic is a good eater and is in good health.
In addition to going to the Boys and Girls Club, Averic enjoys playing outside, riding his bicycle, playing with his action figures and video games.
His conduct can be inconsistent in school, but his counselor states that overall he is polite and cooperative. At home, Averic responds to strict and clear limits and benefits from a behavior management chart. He would do best in a two-parent family, possibly with older children who could serve as role models for him.
