Haley Nicol, daughter of Bruce and Laurie Nicol of Easthampton, was named to the fall semester dean’s list at Bryant University in Smithfield, R.I.

The following people were omitted from the Easthampton High School honor roll list: Grade 11, Second Honors, Willow Ross; Grade 12,

First Honors, Samantha Brand, Abigail Edgin and Haley Hill; and Grade 12, Second Honors, Kyle O’Connell, Coreen Rubeck, Christopher Starcun, Elissa Wright and Kerissa Wright.

Air Force First Class Robert L. Dragon, son of Joyce and Robert Dragon Jr. of Westhampton, graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, in San Antonio, Texas, by completing an intensive, eight-week program. He will attend Greenfield Community College for fire science starting in January. Dragon, a 2011 graduate of Hampshire Regional High School, also completed 16 weeks of technical training at Louis F. Garland Department of Defense Fire Academy at Goodfellow Air Force Base in San Angelo, Texas.

Timothy Haggerty of Southampton has been recognized by coaches and teammates at Pomfret School, Pomfret, Conn., for an outstanding season in varsity soccer. Haggerty, a member of the class of 2013, was awarded the G.J. Wood Soccer Bowl. This award is given to the player whose intensity, pride, sportsmanship and skill, both on and off the field, elevated the play of the rest of the team. Haggerty was also named to the WNEPSSA All-Select team, the All Norwich Bulletin team and Connecticut All-State.
